EXIT Unveils Big Name's For This Year's Lineup

The organisers of the EXIT Festival have announced some of the names who will make up their glittering, star studded 2012 line-up.

At the top of the bill, on the main stage, are New Order, a band who have been critically acclaimed throughout the world and are one of the icon groups of the last 30 years. Their unique sound, which merges rock and pop with electronic and dance music, has been pushing the boundaries since the 80’s and their string of hits includes “Blue Monday”, the bestselling 12” vinyl single of all time. 

On the Fusion Stage are Portuguese sensation’s Buraka Som Sistema, who are making a return to EXIT. Buraka Som Sistema are renowned for an energetic troupe of dancers and MCs and they have won an MTV European Music Awards and, last year, released their second album ‘Komba’.

Preparing to take the decks in the Dance Arena are Luciano, Reboot Live, Kenny Larkin, Robert Dietz and Maayan Nidam for a Cadenza Records showcase on Friday 13 July.  The Dance Arena is one of the crown jewels of the Festival.

EXIT takes place from Thursday 12 – Sunday 15 July, in the Petrovaradin Fortress overlooking the river Danube, one of the most spectacular venues anywhere in the electronic music world. It is a big favourite with regular tour travellers and a big must-see here at Tilllate.com.
